Metro Phoenix Area to include 9 Wilderness Areas within 50 miles such as Superstition, Mazatzal and Four Peaks and Tonto National Forest.

Interest/Focus Areas:
Mexican Gray Wolf re-introduction, expansion of the Sonoran Desert National Monument to add Wilderness Areas, Scenic Wild River Designation for  the Verde River, opposition to Rosemont Mine, reduction of grazing allotments.

Projects: Collaboration with The Sierra Club, AZ Wilderness Coalition, Center for Biological Diversity, The Sonoran Institute, Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center, Lobos of the Southwest, and White Mountain Conservation League, trail maintenance and invasive plant species removal with USFS, attendance and advocacy at AZGF and USFWS Wolf Hearings, advocacy at AZ State Capitol. We have formed an Arizona Regional Group of Broadbands to include Phoenix with Yavapai, Tucson and In the Steps of Leopold to enhance our efforts through the sharing of ideas, events and camaraderie.  Kathy Ann II
