The Sangre De Cristo Broadband is located in Westcliffe, Colorado in the beautiful Wet Mountain Valley, which has become increasingly popular with climbers seeking to “bag” the many 14,000 foot peaks surrounding the valley. This popularity has led to unprecedented recreational impacts in the Pike-San Isabel National Forest, and particularly in the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness. The Sangre De Cristo Broadband works to preserve and protect this valuable wilderness area while also enjoying the camaraderie and passion of other Great Old Broads.

The Sangre de Cristo Broadband cleared trails and cleaned campsites during their June ’08, Brighten the Sangres Day.
