Join Great Old Broads Kristine Crandall and Teresa Rounds of the Utah Broadband for a morning of birding at Jackson Flat Reservoir in Kanab on February 16, 9 a.m. to noon.
The reservoir has become a terrific winter birding area. We will likely see bald and golden eagles, harriers, Canada geese, mergansers, widgeon, teal, and many other waterfowl. We'll also look for sparrows, blackbirds, and other species in the sage scrub. As a possible bonus, this event will take place during the Kanab Balloon Festival, so we may see other unusual objects flying overhead!
RSVP to email@example.com . Additional details and directions will be sent to you when you reply.
