On Friday August 6 - Sunday August 8, join the Grand Canyon Wolf Recovery Project and other wolf conservation advocates for a fun-filled weekend in the heart of the current recovery area for Mexican gray wolves. Activities will include wildlife tracking workshops, hikes, and evening presentations by wolf conservationists and biologists. Experience the beautiful high elevation forests of Arizona where Mexican gray wolves roam in the wild at Big Lake in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona.
Stay with us in a lovely group campsite, the Apache Trout Campground - Fir Group Site, with private group bathrooms and shower facilities. We are implementing enhanced safety measures this year for everyone's well-being. Four delicious boxed meals (Friday and Saturday night dinners and Saturday and Sunday morning breakfasts) are included in the weekend activities, so please register in order to reserve your spot today!
Suggested donation for the weekend is $75 per person and $50 per youth ages 18 and under. Please note that campsite spots and meals will be provided to only those people who register in advance! The registration form will close on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, or once we reach capacity at the group campground, whichever comes first. All ages are welcome.
