Join the Great Old Broads of Middle Gila and the Grand Canyon Wolf Recovery Project for a fun-filled weekend learning about and celebrating the return of Mexican wolves to the wild!
The Big Lake Howliday Campout is scheduled for Friday, July 27th, 2018 starting at 3:00 pm through Sunday, July 29th at noon at the Apache Trout Campground Fir Group site at Big lake in the Apache National forest, Arizona.
With hiking, birding, wildlife tracking, and great speakers in the evenings, the Big Lake Howliday Campout Weekend provides ample opportunity to hang out with fellow wolf advocates, hike, camp, and learn about Mexican wolves in their currently occupied habitat. This year also marks the twentieth anniversary of first releases of Mexican wolves back into the wild in the Blue Range Wolf Recovery Area.
