The Colorado Broads will be attending a very exciting wolf symposium in Durango, Colorado on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Ft. Lewis College.  This event is being hosted and co-sponsored by the Ft. Lewis College Department of Biology.  Our exceptional speakers include the following (we're expecting to confirm three additional speakers in the coming weeks):

Dr. Andrew Gulliford. Professor, Ft. Lewis College.  Co-author of Last Stand of the Pack:  Critical Edition.  Title:  “The Past and Future of Wolves in Colorado.”

Dr. Tom Compton.  Rancher, Colo. Cattlemen's Association Past-President (Hesperus, Colorado).  Title:  “A Case in Opposition to Gray Wolf Reintroduction into Colorado.”

Dr. Diana Tomback.  Professor, CU-Denver.  Title:   “Colorado and Gray Wolf Restoration:  Habitat Suitability, Prey Base and Connectivity.”

*  Carter Niemeyer.  USFWS (ret.), author of Wolfer and Wolf Land.  Title: “Wolf/Livestock Interactions: What to Expect"

Mike Phillips.  Executive Director, Turner Endangered Species Fund.  Title:  “History and Future of Wolf Recovery”

*  Joe Engelhart.  Rancher (British Columbia, Canada).  Title:  “Ranching with Wolves and Other Predators:  A True-Life Story”

*  Mark Pearson.  Executive Director, San Juan Citizens Alliance.  Topic:  “Perspectives on the  Colorado Wolf Management Plan”
