WHALES ( Women’s Hiking And Literary Epicurean Society) decided to take their group a step beyond by joining up with Broads. We meet every week during the summer hiking months and occasionally during the winter skiing months. WHALES Broadband activities consist primarily of hiking but we also study wilderness issues, volunteer for trail monitoring and clean-up (working with Teton Valley Trails and Pathways), volunteer for water quality monitoring (working with the Friends of the Teton River), and have lobbied regarding Yellowstone’s Winter Management Plan.

The geographical region covered by the Teton Vally WHALES Broadband is far Western Wyoming and Eastern Idaho — primarily centered on the Teton Valley.

We welcome all who wish to join us.
