We are currently looking for a feisty Broad or two to lead/co-lead our Jackson Broadband.

  • Are you passionate about Jackson area wild, public lands?
  • Want to make a difference in your local area?

As you know, there are numerous areas and issues around in the Jackson area that need Broad attention.  Local voices are the voices that get attention.

We’ll help you focus your energies, teach you how to advocate for your wild, public lands, help you organize local Broads, and share our Broad camaraderie.

Here’s the Broadband Leader Position Description.

Here’s the application form, which is actually an application to the next Broadband Leader Boot Camp to be held sometime in the spring.

Our Wyoming chapter (near Jackson) sprouted in September of 2009. So far we have mile post 126 – 128 on Hwy 191 as our Adopt-a-Highway project. This stretch was clean and tidy before the snows arrived. We will see what the winter uncovers in May. Out of sight – out of mind for most litterer’s, I guess. Maybe they think the snow will magically compost the trash. We will have a group trash clean-up day sometime the end of May or June depending on the weather and another clean-up day end of September or October.
