Come celebrate three decades of Broads in the wild canyon country of Boulder, Utah. This weekend event is all things Broads—from wild hikes in redrock country to a fabulous celebratory dinner to stewardship and monitoring projects so we can give back to this wild place where Broads began!
Under the Utah Stars
Festivities will be held at the gorgeous Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch overlooking Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (GSENM). There is plenty of room to camp on the picturesque lands surrounding the facility so pack your tent, cooler, and star gazing map—and be prepared for bliss. Bird and wildlife watchers will enjoy exploring the property’s wetlands, which includes more than 40 beaver ponds, and a nearby waterfall. Bathroom facilities and showers available.
We’re throwing a pull-out-the-stops celebration dinner on Saturday night to honor 30 years of Broads, highlighting our history, our wildness, and our work to protect the lands we love! Be prepared for fun and to be moved by special speakers, awards, and Broadness. We have an evening planned that will be one to remember. And show up hungry! This local foods-based buffet will blow your mind thanks to our wonderful caterers.
To work off that meal, lace up your boots for guided hikes and exploring on Sunday. You can’t beat fall in canyon country. Then, after a fun day in the wild, we’ll kick up our heels with a Chili Hoedown around the campfire, complete with live music, dancing, and s’mores.
This event includes breakfast and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. You are on you own for other meals or you can purchase them through the Guest Ranch. A link to pre-order meals will be provided in your registration letters.
Bring a new friend, join an old one, and come fill your heart with hope, the beauty of nature, and plenty of time laughing with a great bunch of Broads and Bros. We’ll celebrate the monument that inspired Broads’ beginnings and leave even more determined to restore the original acreage designated for protection.
More event details will be sent to registrants 3–4 weeks prior to the event.
We love animals, but NO PETS, PLEASE.
