What Personally Identifiable Information is Collected
Those who sign up as members or to receive Broads’ e-communications voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name and email address). We may use this information for specific, limited purposes (see below).
How Your Information May Be Used
We use your personal information to provide you with personalized service, process your membership, send Broads’ alerts and announcements by mail and email, answer your requests, etc. You may choose to opt out of email communications at any time, which will cease all electronic communications from us.
Great Old Broads for Wilderness does not provide, sell, or rent membership information to anyone outside the organization. On rare occasions, we share our list with like-minded organizations, but only if you have given us permission to do so. You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email we send, or by contacting us directly.
We use IP addresses to track visitation of our website. This tracking does not allow us to identify you personally, however it allows us to gather aggregate data to determine which sections/pages of our site are accessed, so we can better serve our users’ needs. This aggregate information is for internal use and may occasionally be shared with conservation campaign partners to evaluate the reach of communications on specific campaigns.
