Come join the Great Old Broads for Wilderness and the Chehalis Land Trust from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, for a one-day, hands-on work session at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail that runs along the banks of the Chehalis River.
The Carbon Capture Foundation has donated 205 Douglas Fir seedlings that will be planted in designated spots along the Discovery Trail to enhance the riparian areas.
Individuals experienced in identifying and removing invasive plant species will provide instruction and help coordinate activities.
Please bring your own water and lunch. Snacks will be provided. You will receive a more detailed schedule and event location information after registering.
In the event of inclement weather, the work session may be rescheduled.
