March 4 | 10:00 am MT — Arizona Trail Wildflower Hike

The Arizona National Scenic Trail is a continuous, 800+ mile diverse and scenic trail across Arizona from Mexico to Utah that links deserts, mountains, forests, canyons, wilderness, communities and people.  You can hike a small portion of the Trail by joining Middle Gila Broads on Friday, March 4 at 10:00 am MT and, hopefully, spot wildflowers in bloom.  The plan is to start at the Gila River at Kelvin, South of Superior on Hwy. 177, and walk the trail North as far as the group wishes to go, stop for lunch, and return the same way.  While the trail heads uphill from the river, the pace will not be difficult.   For more details and directions, please RSVP to Roz Switzer at switzerroz@gmail.com.
