Join the Central Oregon Bitterbrush Broadband from 12:00-1:30 PM (Pacific) on Wednesday, Sept. 24 for a special presentation by Diana Pace from the Umpqua Watersheds Conservation Organization about a new proposal to protect 500,000 acres around the Crater Lake Wilderness.
This proposal will protect high value roadless areas which includes the backcountry of Crater Lake National Park and the headwaters of six (6) major rivers – North and South Umpqua, Rogue, Klamath, Middle Fork Willamette and the Little Deschutes.
This plan will create a 90-mile wilderness corridor in the high cascades by connecting existing wildernesses and Crater Lake backcountry, creating wildlife corridors and protecting plant genetics and biodiversity.

Eastside Library Community Room, 62080 Dean Swift Road, Bend, OR.
