Short Description of Activity

Two phone calls with stakeholders who want to see more wilderness in the Mt. Hood National Forest (2:00, Friday, Aug. 9 and 2:00 July 26). The stakeholder group is in response to a call to action by OR Rep. Earl Blumenaeur and OR Senator Ron Wyden, to continue to develop a vision for protecting the Mt. Hood/Columbia Gorge areas to protect old trees, water supplies and address climate issues. This provides an opportunity to move beyond the tired old frames of jobs v. owls, jobs v. environmentalists, jobs v. enviroment and instead find a way to protect what we all want: clean water and climate resilience

Reflection/Evaluation

The Goal was to discuss and prepare for a forum with stakeholders on Aug. 5 at Timberline Lodge and second call was to debrief
