Short Description of Activity
As part of our homework on Monday evening, Pam and I talked, and she shared with me some helpful information about her experiences as a Broadband leader.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal for this activity was to share helpful information from an experienced leader to a new leader. One of the memorable things she told me is that she feels you can’t run a Broadband just by email, that the fun factor is key to building relationships within the group. She also empathized the importance of keeping up on quarterly reports, and that she maintains a calendar of events so she can more easily and accurately complete reports. She also noted the many resources available to me as a new leader, and that everyone in the organization is ready and willing to help as best they can.
