Short Description of Activity
Jennifer Watson and Barbara McConvill practiced both sides of a 1:1 call using two scenarios. Barbara was the Broaadband leader in the first call and Jen was to do the second scenario. I’ve done a similar task in the past so this came pretty easy, especially after watching Lauren and Sally. Since Jen is brand new to Broads and is just now contemplating starting a Broadband she didn’t have the background to get into the second scenario That was okay because we did a real 1:1 call and talked about her situation in Missoula.
Reflection/Evaluation
What started out as “play acting” turned into a real life 1:1 call, discussing the challenges of starting a Broadband in a new city with limited social contacts. We discussed how the national office can be a huge resource and how to find one hot button to start out with. It was a good call.
