Short Description of Activity
Representatives of eight member organizations met to discuss how to keep water sampling going in light of Covid concerns. It was decided that boat-dependent sampling would require at least two persons per boat and that each person aboard should be related by family or living situation. Group will reconvene in early August to discuss whether it will be possible to move forward.
Reflection/Evaluation
The member groups represented conservation groups and land trusts along the Maine midcoast, all of which have been doing this work in the past or are willing to be trained by staff from the Bigelow Lab or Maine DEP.
