Short Description of Activity

We planted 425 sedge plants with Amanda Kuenzi of MSI. She taught us about the importance of fens. 4 of the FS Hydrology crew also helped plant.

Reflection/Evaluation

Molas fen is right next to Highway 550, on the west side. It is noisy with traffic. Amanda provided all the tools and materials. Deb P. erected fencing to shelter about half of the sedges planted. We might install a wildlife camera in the area to monitor activity to determine if wildlife are disturbing the sedges planted.
