Short Description of Activity
We testified by teleconference to the Alaska Industrial Development and Energy Administration against their appropriations of money for the proposed road to the Ambler Mining District, especially as it was done under the auspices of “emergency pandemic actions”.
Reflection/Evaluation
Lots of great testimony. Mine was quoted in the Alaska Daily News and played on the Alaska Public Radio news. To no avail as the appropriation went through unanimously. However a sitting Alaska legislator and a former legislator both took issue and are following up.
