Short Description of Activity
NWCO Broads hosted Larry Desjardin, a conservationist, sportsman and President of Keep Routt Wild, to present “Wolves by the Numbers” and a calculator developed by Desjardin to roughly measure the impact of wolf reintroduction on game species in Colorado. The session was hosted on Zoom and streamed on Facebook.
Reflection/Evaluation
The more scientific participates found the information to be credible and an interesting look at an aspect of wolf reintroduction that had, perhaps, not been considered. Others found the presentation to be disturbingly anti-wolf, even though the data was presented in an unbiased manner. We had 46 participants on Zoom.
