Short Description of Activity
5 Broads weeded and planted Douglas Aster plants at Leach Botanical Gardens. We also planted 100 Self-heal plants at the site.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal of the activity was to plant and then take a tour of the site. The tour guide, unfortunately had to take her daughter to the airport and then she got a sore throat so she was unable to give us a tour. Very lovely place and it was donated by the Leach family whose mission it was to protect the 4.5 acres in perpetuity. We can, hopefully, return back for more planting in the spring.
