Short Description of Activity

Call between WALTS trainee and Leader from Greater Wasatch Broadband to ask about their involvement, what they liked best being a leader, biggest lessons learned and what resources used the most.

Reflection/Evaluation

Greater Wasatch leader reported liking Stewardship the best sharing current project of developing Interpreter signs at a trail head, overseeing a local trail with an adopt a trail program.
Biggest lessons learned was regarding volunteers, acknowledging that people are busy, to be flexible, understanding, patient and to appreciate all levels of skill and knowledge brought to the activity.
Leader reported that the main Broad’s office provided great resources and support. Other beneficial resources found with Center of Western Priorities and Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance.
Finding people who want to be involved and asking people to commit have been challenges.
Questions answered well providing good insight and practices.
