Participated in public meeting from a Colo Trails grantee about their progress on their Planning Grant.
Reflection/Evaluation
wanted to find out more about their proposed trail locations and trail building. Broads members Sallie T expressed concerns about designing trails for multi-use, including quiet use, and how to avoid user conflicts through design and planning. Broad member Robyn C expressed concerns about trail siting within boundaries of CORE lands, Roadless Areas and Wilderness Study Areas, Ironton riparian area and supporting reroutes but not the push for loops in protected areas.
