In addition, Joe Zebrowski from New Mexico Highlands University will tell us about the Shared Stewardship Portal that is being developed as part of the New Mexico Forest Action Plan, and we’ll take suggestions for topics to discuss during 2021.

Reflection/Evaluation

The attendance was very sparse; actually, most of the people there were from the conservation community and the district personnel. Therefore, the meeting was primarily attended by people who are interested in conservation issues like springs restoration, invasive plant infestation, and overuse by OHV’s. We did suggest several topics for future meetings, including a presentation by the wildlife biologist from NMDGF, who has been a really helpful part of the Sandia Collaborative meetings.
