Short Description of Activity
Monthly meeting (10 members) Grace Logsdon spoke about recycling in the Grand Valley and in Colorado . We will fill the local landfill in about 20 years with no current plan to replace it. Various members gave reports on their current work.
Reflection/Evaluation
Members asked multiple questions about how to recycle certain items. It is complex because different recycling centers accept different items, but she has put together sheets of information covering those differences.
CORE and CWA have moved through the House and will have a harder time in the Senate. GMUG SBEADMR meeting had rather dire projections for spruce and aspen impacts from climate change. WE didn’t have time for everyone to report.
