Short Description of Activity

Chara, Anne, Peggy and Jeff planted douglas fir and ponderosa pine seedlings on hillsides that were severely burned in the 416 fire area near the Hermosa Creek Trail.

Reflection/Evaluation

Cool weather, snow flurries and some wind. We used hoedads to dig holes and planted trees on the north and east sides of fallen logs to give shade to seedlings. More rain fell in the afternoon after we left. We wished the trees well.
