Short Description of Activity
CARE call on ALLYSHIP. Leaders, staff and some other invitees on successes and challenges engaging in allyship work. This followed GLOW call around the same subject but this involved leaders sharing their experiences. Good discussion followed
Reflection/Evaluation
Goal met of exchanging experiences around Justice and equity, amongst broadband leaders; but hoped for perhaps bigger number of participants. Almost everyone verbally participated who attended. Several staff members attended too. Some leaders are in very challenging regions; so made linkages with them to offer support. Themes were reflected by me to the group-some of which was learned at GLOW call. Agreed to consider continued collaboration amongst each other, committed to justice and equity issues.
