Short Description of Activity
Judith made one trip this month. BLM staff have been to the site and connected poles by wire that were installed last month along the area around the parking lot to deter people from using 4-wheelers to descend in that area. Over all there had been very little use of the site and trash left by the users. One small bag of trash consisting of broken glass and shell casings was removed. There is some large construction trash on a another road into the WSA that was too big for immediate removal.
Reflection/Evaluation
It is an ongoing task to keep the BLM land free of trash. The use of bicycles and motorized vehicles is apparent from tracks on the dunes. BLM is aware of this and now has taken steps to try to reduce the use of 4-wheelers.
