Short Description of Activity
Bi-monthly meeting of partners with the Central Oregon Conservation Network. First in person meeting since COVID last year.
Reflection/Evaluation
REPRESENTATIVE Jason Knopf and Gena Goodman-Campbell City Council member presented information regarding what each is doing addressing climate change and environmental issues. Discussed some wildlife bills, concerns with wild fires and addressing the Clean Energy 2040 Bill. Also it was brought up about Deschutes Co. doing a wildlife inventory which has not been done for years and we have declining mule deer population. The question raised is what will they do with that?
