Short Description of Activity
National Public Lands Day. A small group of three broads and two volunteers gathered at our Winter’s Grove Trail to pick up trash and clip the hanging Willow Branches over the trail and benches.
Reflection/Evaluation
The activity went great! The goal was met. We found another invasive species that we were able to cut down and place in garbage bags. I took a photo of the plant and sent to USFS and they are checking on it.
(Mullein Plant) It contains insecticide and fish poison rotenone. We will meet again in a few months at the trail.
