Short Description of Activity

7/15, 8/16 and 9/16/2021. There were three meetings of this group in this three-month period. Each meeting lasted 1 to 1.5 hours, and the group came to a consensus about how to write Problem statements, Desired Conditions, and Recommended Management Actions for the Sandia Collaborative group and the Sandia RD in the next 1-2 years.

Reflection/Evaluation

The group is well-managed by the president of the NM Native Plant Society – Albuquerque chapter. The District Ranger seemed to receive the groups input in a positive manner, although pushing the whole Cibola NF to make a position for a Botanist on the forest may be a farther reach. It is, however, really important to the group.
