Short Description of Activity
Google meets meeting with two women from San Diego River Park Foundation. Kylie Clarke and Marla Libraty. We discussed how the Broads can partner with the SD River Park Foundation to do cleanups and stewardship programs. Marla suggested many different ways we could connect. She said they would love to host a Broadwalk event and have a river walk or hike near the headwaters. Great connection.
Reflection/Evaluation
I loved sharing the Broads with these two environmental activists. It makes my job easy. I said I would create an action sheet and begin promoting their work. I’m hoping to create a strong connection and do events together in the future.
