Short Description of Activity

Read and research GMUG forest plan proposal= 4, WCA-plc =2 hours; Colorado Wilderness Act=4 hours for calls, 3 hours meeting with BLM staff, meet with Rep. DeGette and staff = 2 hours,

Reflection/Evaluation

GMUG proposal is overwhelming because of its length and the changes they are proposing in terms of moving away from objectives that must be met. WCA=Plc is very focused on 3 areas only and PLC members seem to have good knowledge about those area. CWA calls are often informative, meeting with Rep. Degette and staff was also informative particularly when she talked about the process of trying to move the legislation through Congress. The meeting with field Manager and other staff of GJFO was organized by Scott Braden and much of this first meeting was spent getting to know each other and what issues our respective organizations work on.
