Short Description of Activity
Our 2nd meeting of the year, with me still out of town. Lots of events to inform the members of, advocacy updates and book club meeting reminder. Determined that an advocacy subgroup was needed since many of the current members are not interested in receiving more emails or becoming engaged.
Reflection/Evaluation
Many of the South Broads are interested in hiking, a few in advocacy and quite a few in the book group. Annie Cubberly identified this as her interest and has taken the lead on that. Susan Bakke with two newer members, Connie and Suzanne, have met to determine a place to hike and tentative schedule for regular hiking. Tami and I will be main advocacy members, focusing now on the removal of the lower Snake River dams.
