Short Description of Activity
Al We Can Save group — Started discussing Katharine Hayhoe’s book “Saving Us” We appreciated the stories she included of her own experiences trying to talk to others about climate change and that she pursued information about why people resisted acting about climate change. Planned for action in a tree focused booth at Arbor Day.
Broadband meeting – met withCara from RiversEdge West and listened to possible activities we could do with that group, talked about current issues and species being monitored.
Reflection/Evaluation
Climate change book discussion was quite good as was planning for Arborday booth and then work in the City Arboritum.
Good discussion at BB meeting with Cara and sharing of monitoring progress.
