Reflection/Evaluation
The training was great! Laurie led a Wilderness Act Trivia Game and also facilitated an engaging activity about Leave No Trace. Other topics included: Making Visitor Contacts, Authority of the Resource, What does Wilderness Mean to you, Safety, Mapping, Reporting, and use of the InReach device. Further training on the Avenza mapping app will also be presented to our chapter in June. Overall, it was a very engaging training and the people were great! Next steps include signing up for mentorship hikes.
