quarterly meeting with members of the Central Oregon Conservation Network.

Reflection/Evaluation

Did Roundtable to get up to speed what each group is working on and looking at what we need to either pay attention to or support in the next legislative session. Some of those are in regards to land use, and/or environmental concerns such as climate change and forest issues. Something of big concern is the push by development/realtors/builders to change UGB’s so they can develop more. Keeping an eye on this as they are pushing they need this for affordable housing but there is quarantee that they would actually do that. Thornburg Resort issue is still tied up with next hearing in July. The footbridge over the wild and scenic section of the Deschutes river south of Bend has come up again, but this seems to come and go and again can’t be done because of the W &S declaration.
