Short Description of Activity
Held second zoom meeting of food planning committee for big salmon celebration picnic honoring 4 source to sea paddlers. My part was the food, so after organizing notes from previous meeting and typing up results of costco research, met with 2 sub committee members for 45 minutes. Revised list and then did large shopping trip to Costco to purchase all the food. More challenging with different dietary restrictions and we don’t know numbers.
Reflection/Evaluation
it went ok, but if I was to be involved again, I would want to work out more details ahead of time with planning committee and ask for rsvp from participants. Also perhaps next time be more realistic about the cost of feeding an unknown number of people-our budget was probably not realistic.
