Activity Type: Education & Outreach (tabling, films & lectures, regional B-walks/works)
Short Description of Activity
Hiked through managed and old growth forests, observing effects of past logging, over planting, and other management strategies. We are considering scaling the hike up, and offering it to the general public.
Reflection/Evaluation
It went well. There were only 3 broads, including myself. Weather was warm, but tolerable.
For follow up, I will need to contact an OSU forest personnel, to understand the meaning of their tags and paint marks on specific trees.
