Short Description of Activity
Met with Kootenai tribe member on the cultural committee to connect and cultivate relationship, and to ask if there are issues we can help with. It sounds like name place changes have happened. They support Black Ram and I listened. We will continue our discussion. Many other topics including traditional beliefs and tribal government history.
Reflection/Evaluation
Challenging to listen to what the USFS has told the tribe and what transpired on their visit to the Kootenai Forest and Black Ram. Creating a relationship is a process, and it is happening slowly.
