Decision to only be called Forest Brats and not Forests/Rivers as Rivers and wildlife would all be included in any of our discussions.
Reflection/Evaluation
Did follow up with check in from Westwind meeting. Clarification on several the various groups regarding climate change. Questions about when and how is litigation decisions made by National? There is a formal process but everyone unclear. Also a lot of discussion regarding the process for National to make a position statement…Currently there is no statement for forests…need statement development of which this group wants to play a role. Start sending resource information to National. Amy has helped with position statements in the past. Group wants to support that mature trees are at best 80 years old. Group decided that we can develop our own PNW regional position statement with this group. Told that issues are not the same across the state….need to follow up on that to find out what the differences are.
