Activity Type: Stewardship (monitoring, sampling, planting, etc.)
Key Partners: Juniper Sierra club; Malhuer Forest Rangers
Short Description of Activity
Campout, stewardship project with training how to use the MIM’s that the Forest Service uses to monitor exclosures around livestock grazing.
We lucked out with warm days (Indian Summer) and cold, freezing nights. Great turn out and the training from Gail and Erin was great, especially since it was hands on. We were able to get both areas of concerned done, so have initial data. Plan to return later this fall for more follow up.
