Short Description of Activity
During a March 2022 hike at Colorado National Monument where I invited members of the Northern San Juan Broadband to join our Broadband, attendee Christiane Frischmuth pitched an idea of BB leadership teams to get together to meet, brainstorm and share sometime during autumn. I thought it was a good idea and throughout the summer, had a few phone calls and emails with Christiane, primarily about the schedule and what I would lead.
Reflection/Evaluation
The event happened at Top of the Pines and was meaningful and well-received in my opinion. I put together an Icebreaker and when unable to attend that day, ensured its delivery and use for Oct. 3. On Oct. 4 I was able to attend and lead a session, “Engaging Your Audience” which was based on NPS interpretive skills that I had taught in the past when I was employed.
