Mostly fall/summer work.

Reflection/Evaluation

Our goal of reaching out to our Ute Mountain Ute neighbors is progressing and we are building relationships for a years long restoration project at Mancos Canyon. They have received a grant for the restoration and Scott Clow is beginning the permit process. Sally will help us reach out to other Broadbands and make a spreadsheet of teams for the permit we need to cross into Ute lands. I asked Scott if there was an October event for Mancos Canyon and he said to bring people to the White Mesa Mill event instead. He started with my vehicle info and we’ll get the group permit going this winter.
We are adding members from our outreach activities like the seed collecting on the Ute lands that I wrote about last month. Not sure how many 4Corners Broadband members attended the star parties. There were hundreds of people at Mesa Verde and both events were held in the dark, so you couldn’t really tell if any Broads were there, but I loved attending both.
