Short Description of Activity

Great Old Broads and Give a Damn Beaver coordinated for a thorough educational presentation on the importance of Beavers in the landscape. The group then went out to the Animas river to witness live Beaver activity and also protect mature trees with fencing.

Reflection/Evaluation

The participants learned a lot about Beavers and participated in an activity that allows Beavers and humans to coexist while protecting the adults trees that grow along the river bank.
