Short Description of Activity
The 3 co-leaders attended the Care Call about DEIJ work by 6 specific broadbands and led by the leaders of those broadbands.
Reflection/Evaluation
Main take away was the importance of building relationships and in the process of that with new groups to ‘offer a question’. We have been questioning whether we should have a land acknowledgement and would it be welcomed or presumptive. Before we can answer that we need to ‘build relationships’ and will investigate what tribal office is in northern Utah and go from there. Focus was heavy on indigenous groups.
