Short Description of Activity

Tree Planting at Steigerwald National Wildlife Refuge

Reflection/Evaluation

We were joined with 37 other volunteers from Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership and planted a grand total of 1700 trees! There was a combination of Sitka and Columbia River Willow, Red Osier Dogwood, Spirea, Nootka rose, and red elderberry. Children and adults of all ages participated in this great event and the weather was excellent but cold! I may have also enticed a woman into joining our organization! It was a great day!
