10 Broads showed up to hike with Laurie starting at the Salmon Morgan Creek TH.
Reflection/Evaluation
Two of the Broads did not read the directions and showed up at the wrong TH. We just hiked out to them to where they were waiting. No worries! We hiked the new Gordy Jolma Family Natural Area which used to be the Cedars Golf Course in Brush Prairie, Wa. It was great to see the golf course restored to a more natural area. It was a new place to hike for most of the group and very flat. No place to sit and eat, however, and we stood and ate our lunch anyway. Great way to get the group involved on a cold but dry New Years Day Hike!
