Short Description of Activity
Picked up 24 pounds of trash. Got glass and cans from below the parking area. Found a shredded garbage bag of garbage near the poles on the loop road south of the parking area as well as she’ll casings. This bag weighed 21 pounds The largest appeared to be full of smaller bags full of animal bones. There was also a metal wire basket that apparently been used to put the garbage bag out there. the original bag had been shredded with the smaller bags scattered and opened by animals and infested with insects.
Reflection/Evaluation
The goal is to provide regular monitoring of this site and to clean up and remove trash as well as keep an eye on illegal use of the site by vehicles. This was done.
