Short Description of Activity

Explored Belle Isle Marsh in Winthrop, MA. This state park is one of the last examples of the salt marsh that previously covered the MA Coast. It is endangered by sea level rise and previous ditching. It may be a future stewardship project location for Nor’easters

Reflection/Evaluation

Good introduction to the site and an enjoyable day of getting to know one another in person after meeting only on Zoom for so long.
